Across The Endless Waste
They say that somewhere in the heart of the cursed desert known as The Endless Waste, in the shadow of the holy mountain Nafidhat Bayda, is a temple where few have tread. Every four hundred and twenty years, the peaceful order of the Weedians marches South from their church in the Empire of Dro to cross the deadly desert and make a simple prayer at the temple. Since their numbers are small and the priests must spend the trip imbibing the sacred smoke that will prepare them to make their prayer, they hire adventurers to protect them as they travel a shifting path beset by beasts, monsters, and demons. Will our adventurers be able to protect the priests as they travel to the holy mountain? Or will the lure of the Weedians’ smoke cause them to drop out of their quest, bong in hand?
